27 November 2008: 'Impacts of land use change to farm forestry and plantation forestry: a suvey of landholders' report released

The report, 'Impacts of land use change to farm forestry and plantation forestry: a survey of landholders' was released on 27 November 2008.  You can download the media release, the Executive Summary of the report, or the full report, by clicking on the links below.

August 2008: 'Understanding residents' views on land use change' report released

Further results from the study are now available. The report 'Understanding Residents' Views on Land Use Change' describes and compares residents’ views of four land uses increasing in the study region: blue gum plantations, cropping, dairying and rural residential development. It also explores the reasons for residents’ views using a psychological framework to examine residents’ valued outcomes and beliefs about valued outcomes.

March 2008: 'Living with land use change: different views and perspectives' report released

This report details the results of a series of group interviews with local residents undertaken in 2006. You can download the report as a single file, or in separate sections, below.
